The process involve taking an inspiration for making artworks that will be converted later into designs for jacquard weave. This painting by Nikolai Astrup, a Norwegian painter, was taken up as an inspiration for developing artworks. He was a distinctive, innovative artist noted principally for his intense use of color depicting the lush landscapes of Vestlandet featuring the traditional way of life in the region. 

Scandinavian and Minimalism

I used pastel colors and water colors to bring a texture on the artwork. The texture will help in bringing the depth in the Jacquard fabric.

Different forms were explored by layering different color mediums.

The final artworks converted into Jacquard textiles for Upholstery.
